What if the way we have looked at church growth was shortsighted. What if just simply having people show up and observe and sing and tithe was not a real sign of growth? What if a mega church only had 50, 75 or even fewer members? What if we looked instead for evidence of the Holy Spirit being active and making us radically different? Jesus told the 12 that people would know they belonged to HIM if they "loved one another."
So...what are we known for?
